Booking conditions

These terms and conditions are applicable to all customers booking with Lord Howe Island Nature Tours ABN 61650002716.

Rates

Rates quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% goods and services tax (GST). Rates are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation policy

No refund can be given in the event of change of mind, non-arrival, or any unused services due to disruption of customers’ travel schedule. We recommend you protect yourself with travel insurance.

Other service operators

Lord Howe Island Nature Tours may engage other service providers to coordinate and provide certain services. The other providers are solely responsible for and liable for providing their respective services. Customers are also subject to specific terms and conditions imposed by other providers.  We do not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise of service providers over whom we have no direct control.

Activities guidelines and disclaimer

Lectures are conducted at Lord Howe Island Museum or other venue as listed at time of booking.  Customers shall comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions at the premises, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures and registration requirements. Lord Howe Island Nature Tours shall be entitled to refuse a customer entry or to require a customer to leave the premises if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other customers or otherwise unacceptable.

Tours and walks take place in a natural environment potentially on uneven surface and containing fauna and flora that may be dangerous at close contact. Whilst every effort is made by the staff and management of Lord Howe Island Nature Tours to ensure the safety of its customers, customers acknowledge as a condition of making their bookings that neither Lord Howe Island Nature Tours nor any of its staff shall be liable for the death or injury of any of its customers or for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (except where caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of Lord Howe Island Nature Tours) suffered by any of its customers arising out of or in connection with use of the facilities and activities offered by Lord Howe Island Nature Tours, in particular (but not limited to) these involving wildlife, and the customer, by making a booking, releases Lord Howe Island Nature Tours and its staff from all or any such liability.

All bookings are subject to availability.  Lord Howe Island Nature Tours reserves the right to refuse any booking on reasonable grounds.

Force majeure

Lord Howe Island Nature Tours shall not be liable for failure or delay in delivering obligations under the booking if the cause of the failure or delay is due to reasons beyond its control. These include but are not limited to war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, track closure, fire, epidemic, pandemic, bad weather, terrorist activity, military activity, governmental or regulatory action, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities.

Use of this website
