A weekly series of lectures is conducted by naturalist and local expert Ian Hutton. This is a perfect way to start your time on the Island and a chance to enhance your understanding of Lord Howe Island’s unique environment, history, wildlife and conservation.
The lectures include stunning visual presentations featuring Ian’s incredible gallery of photographs and, of course, his breadth of knowledge on the Island’s heritage, flora and fauna and his wisdom about the ways we can conserve this special place.
Lectures are held at the Lord Howe Museum, where Ian is part-time curator (another of his many hats). Lecture times are 5:30-6:30pm and bookings are essential.
