Bird Week
Dates TBA March 2021
Join a week-long tour discovering the island’s birdlife. The focus is on the seabirds, and there are plenty of opportunities for close encounters where we can sit and observe the birds in flight, at the nest and feeding chicks. It is possible to see all of the island’s seabirds in March. We visit all the best seabird locations, and along the walking tracks have the opportunity to see the landbirds. Also included we learn about the island’s geology, flora and marine life. Small group, three boat trips and all evening meals included.

Beetle Week
Dates TBA May 2021
Join Australian Museum scientist Chris Reid for a week tour to not only learn about the island’s endemic beetles and their lifestyle, but we will be carrying out a survey project to document changes in beetle populations following rodent removal in 2019. Of Lord Howe Island’s invertebrate species, the beetles are the most numerous, with over 530 different species recorded.
